A Look At Popular Injectable Fillers
BOTOX® Cosmetic: BOTOX is one of the most popular and sought-after cosmetic treatments in the industry. Many patients turn to this dermal filler to smooth out wrinkles and fine lines. Administered through a series of tiny injections, BOTOX can rejuvenate a person’s appearance by greatly reducing or eliminating crow’s feet, frown lines between the eye brows, as well as lines around the mouth, and across the forehead and neck. These treatments are performed quickly, and with little to no discomfort and no downtime. Patients can enjoy the results of BOTOX for up to six months.
Dysport®: This injectable is made from the same bacterium as BOTOX, and can be used to treat the same areas of the face. There is anecdotal evidence that the effects of Dysport appear quicker and last longer than BOTOX. While Dysport treatment may last up to four months, certain areas that are regularly treated with this filler tend to show longer lasting results.
