Too little sleep causes an increase in a hormone called ghrelin that stimulates appetite, leading you to crave more and consume extra calories.
  • Change up your workout: It’s great to stay active, but many people only engage in cardio activity and often that is not enough to lose belly fat. When you just engage in a cardio workout, such as running, your metabolism adjusts and you stop burning calories as soon as you stop your cardio workout.
