What is Latisse?
Dr. Charlotte Ann Rhee describes Latisse as a prescription medication that offers longer, thicker, fuller, and darker eyelashes. Latisse is formulated with a medication called bimatoprost ophthalmic solution 0.03%. It was originally formulated for patients with glaucoma as an eyedrop, but one positive side effect was improved lashes as patients continued to use the product. This is how Latisse was developed and became an aesthetic treatment instead of a medical one!
How does Latisse work?
Latisse works by increasing the growth phase of the eyelash hair follicle. The anagen phase then creates more lashes and helps lengthen the ones already present. The results? Thicker, fuller, and darker lashes without the use of mascara or false eyelashes!

Any woman who is interested in ditching the mascara and obtaining naturally longer lashes can ask their doctor about Latisse.
